Within Reach

We were finishing up the new CD, called “Fitting Pieces.” Our friend Zia was at our house with all of her gear to take the cover picture as usual. We decided to make it a shot of the two of us sitting at the table in the sun room, working a jigsaw puzzle.

While Zia was taking the picture and without knowing it, our little dachshund, Izzi-B, curious as to what was going on, jumped up on the chair and then onto the table to check things out. She sauntered over across the puzzle and fell onto her back in Cheryl’s arms. Zia snapped some spontaneous shots of the scene and we all laughed about it. Upon further reflection, we decided to use that photo as the cover graphic for the CD. After all, the story/song was about the “other piece of the puzzle” that was always just within reach—Izz-B!
